Procedures

Longer-lasting relief without major spine surgery

Why minimally invasive

Minimally invasive procedures use small incisions or needle punctures, X-ray or camera guidance, and specialized tools to treat the source of pain while disturbing less muscle and bone than open surgery. Many are outpatient, so you go home the same day. They aren't right for every problem, and our team also offers spine surgery when it's the better option.

Conditions we treat this way

How it works

  1. Evaluation. A physician reviews your history, exam and imaging.
  2. Diagnosis first. Diagnostic injections often confirm the pain source before a procedure.
  3. Procedure. At Universal Care Surgery Center, Advanced Surgery Center or Garden City Hospital, depending on the procedure and your physician, usually with sedation.
  4. Recovery. Follow-up visits and physical therapy as needed.
