Is there an urgent care in Dearborn with a CT scan?

Yes. Specialty Urgent Care at 13530 Michigan Ave, Suite 120, Dearborn, MI 48126 has its own CT scanner and X-ray in the building. Walk in Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm; if the provider who examines you orders imaging, it's done during the same visit. Call (313) 582-0100.

Call 911 or go to an emergency room for chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of a stroke, severe bleeding, a serious head injury or loss of consciousness. Specialty Urgent Care is not an emergency room.

Imaging and tests in the same building

Most urgent cares can take an X-ray but send you elsewhere for a CT scan. Here, both are in the building, and a radiologist reads every CT and X-ray. Your provider decides which test you need, if any, after examining you. How CT and X-ray work at our clinic.

The on-site lab handles common tests, including rapid tests, pregnancy tests and STD testing.

Physicals and work-related care

  • DOT physicals for commercial drivers, by a medical examiner on the FMCSA National Registry
  • Drug and alcohol testing, DOT and non-DOT
  • Pre-employment, school, sports and camp physicals
  • Work injuries and workers' compensation care
  • Flu and Tdap vaccines and TB tests

Employers can send new hires and injured workers here: see occupational health for employers.

Hurt in a car accident?

Walk in for an exam and imaging soon after the crash, even if you feel fine; it also documents your injuries for your no-fault claim. Pain management, spine care and physical therapy are in the same building if you need follow-up care. See what to do after a car accident in Michigan.

Common questions

Do I need an appointment for urgent care in Dearborn?

No. Walk in Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm. You can also check in online to save your place.

Can urgent care do a CT scan?

Most can't, but ours can. Specialty Urgent Care in Dearborn has a CT scanner and X-ray in the building, so if your provider orders a CT you have it during the same visit instead of going to a hospital or imaging center. A radiologist reads every CT and X-ray.

Is urgent care open on Saturday in Dearborn?

Yes. Specialty Urgent Care is open Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm, and closed on Sunday.

When should I go to the emergency room instead of urgent care?

Cost and how to get a quote

We give self-pay prices by phone and in writing so the quote matches your visit. What changes the cost:

  • How complex the visit is
  • Tests done during the visit, such as X-ray, CT, labs or a strep or flu test
  • Procedures such as stitches or splinting
  • Medicines given in the clinic

Insurance: Specialty Urgent Care accepts most major insurance. With insurance, your cost is your plan's urgent care copay or deductible.

Questions to ask any clinic when comparing prices:

  • Is the visit fee the same for every reason, or does it depend on what I need?
  • Are X-rays, CT, lab tests or a strep or flu test billed separately?
  • Are stitches, splints or other minor procedures extra?
  • What if I need a follow-up visit or a work note?
  • Will I get the price in writing before I’m seen?
