Self-pay prices: regenerative program

Prompt-payment prices for patients who choose to pay at or before their visit instead of having us bill insurance. Your physician decides which treatment, if any, fits you first.

Prices effective 1 Nov 2026. A written quote confirms your price before treatment.

How payment works

  1. Your first evaluation is billed like any doctor’s visit. We bill your health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, auto no-fault or workers’ comp for the consultation when your plan covers it. Without coverage, the self-pay consultation fee is $125.
  2. If a treatment fits, you get a written quote. Your physician explains the options first, including ones insurance does cover.
  3. One self-pay price covers the treatment. For PRP and Gen III Biologics that means the treatment day (your procedure assessment, preparation, and the injection with X-ray or ultrasound guidance) and routine follow-up for that treatment.
  4. Other care is billed separately, usually to insurance: imaging such as MRI, physical therapy and bracing, when they’re recommended.

What isn’t included

  • The first evaluation (billed to insurance, or the $125 self-pay consultation fee).
  • Imaging such as MRI, physical therapy and bracing.
  • More than one joint, tendon or region: each gets its own price.

Insurance and regenerative treatment

  • Medicare generally doesn’t cover PRP or other regenerative injections for joint or tendon problems, and Medicaid plans usually don’t either. Your evaluation visit can still be billed to them.
  • Most private health plans don’t cover these treatments either; check your plan.
  • Michigan auto no-fault can pay for reasonably necessary care after a crash. Coverage for a regenerative treatment is decided claim by claim, so we check with your auto insurer first. When an insurer is billed, our standard charges apply, not these self-pay prices.

A prepaid course is a payment arrangement, not a promise of a result. Treatment continues only when your physician orders it after reassessment. Unused prepaid treatments are refunded at the discounted price you paid.

Self-Pay / Prompt-Payment Discount Schedule: terms

The fees listed in this Self-Pay/Prompt-Payment Discount Schedule represent conditional discounts from the Practice’s standard charges and are offered uniformly to eligible patients without regard to the cause of injury, insurance carrier, or type of insurance coverage. Eligibility is based solely on the patient electing not to have the Practice bill any insurer or other third-party payer and paying the discounted amount in full at or before the time of service, thereby eliminating insurance verification, authorization, claim submission, collection, appeal, and delayed-payment costs and risks. These discounted amounts do not constitute the Practice’s standard or customary charges, contracted reimbursement rates, or the maximum amounts payable by an insurer or other responsible third party. When the Practice is requested or required to bill, document, pursue, or collect payment from an insurer or third party—including an automobile insurer—the Practice’s standard charges and all applicable contractual and legal reimbursement rules will apply. No patient will be denied medically appropriate services or treated differently solely because of the existence, absence, or identity of insurance coverage.

About FDA status

EXOCUBE is an FDA-cleared Class II device (510(k) BK251196) for preparing platelet-rich plasma from your own blood, and the devices we use to prepare bone marrow concentrate and microfragmented fat are also FDA-cleared for that preparation. FDA clearance covers preparing the material, not treating a particular condition: the FDA has not approved PRP, bone marrow concentrate or fat-based injections to treat arthritis, tendon or ligament tears, or spine problems. These are not stem cell treatments.

Results vary from person to person, the research is stronger for some uses than others, and no treatment here is guaranteed to work. Your physician explains what the evidence shows for your condition and the other options, including physical therapy, injections and surgery.
